Regulation of e-cigarettes in the Western Pacific Region: A knowledge exchange webinar

The McCabe Centre for Law & Cancer, in partnership with the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office, is presenting a webinar to exchange experiences in the regulation of
e-cigarettes.

The rise in e-cigarette use, particularly among young people, presents challenges for tobacco control. These include challenges for regulating these products, due to the diversity of products, differences in national approaches, rapidly evolving evidence base, and new forms of industry interference.

In the upcoming webinar, speakers from the McCabe Centre, WHO and the region will provide an overview of key normative frameworks and recommendations relating to e-cigarettes at the international and regional level, and country case studies representing different models.

The webinar will be held on Thursday, 5 September, at 12:00pm-1:30pm (AEST) (click here to convert to your time zone).

Please register through this link and include your declaration of interest by 29 August, 2024.

If you have any questions about the webinar, please, contact info@mccabecentre.org.
